How to Participate
Here are a few ways distributors can participate in Smart Irrigation Month
- Identify and promote systems, products or services that conserve water.
- Create "why they apply" material and product success stories.
- Develop special promotions to introduce new water-conserving products to customers.
- Use the Smart Irrigation month logo on your website, press releases and print collateral.
- Launch educational efforts including introduction of the Irrigation Association Turf and Landscape Irrigation Best Management Practices to employees and contractors.
- Sponsor an irrigation expert speaker or an efficient products table at a regional irrigation or landscape contractor meeting.
- Sponsor an Irrigation Association education course at a local facility.
- Send a press release with general irrigation system tips to the local paper.
- Join the Irrigation Association if you are not a current member. Stay up-to-date on industry news, practices, and receive discounts on education, certification, publications, and the annual International Irrigation Show.
